The flavour profile is created by a natural process of exposing the leaves to cold temperatures prior to their processing. The story that has been told about this tea has a connection to the moon, and a comet. The story goes like this; The Moon 🌝 one day was doing as she does and out of nowhere a Comet ☄️ blasts by in front of her, and she falls in love! But as fast as the Comet came to her, it was gone as quickly as it arrived. The Moon was devastated because instead of staying with her, the Comet did as they do, and passed her by. She was so upset that she cried milky tears onto the tea farms which is where the flavour is said to come from.

These tears are a frost cycle which changes the flavour composition of the Camellia sinenis leaves.
