Tasseomancy Novice
These classes are to be held on Mondays or Thursday afternoons from 12:00 – 6:00pm EST.
Course objective: Tea is steeped in superstition and reading fortunes with it hearkens back to days of the old divinatory art forms of the Shamans; interpreting symbols, patterns and formations made by random objects. Tasseomancy is the Art and Practice of divination by the interpretation of symbolic patterns made by tea leaves in a teacup.
In this course, you will learn about how this form of divination came to be the Art it is today. Amy will be teaching about the history of tea reading and tea discussing what teas are best for readings. We will discover the nuances of teapots, teacups & saucers, and their significance in the Tasseomancers process. Learn how to brew a proper cup of tea for a reading, the compass of the cup and how to toss your cup to obtain an effective leaf spread in the cup. We will learn about symbolism attached to the Art and look at your intuition’s interpretations. By the end of the course, you will be able to begin to see symbols, patterns and have the basic principles down to begin in earnest your own training and practice to do tea leaf readings.
Private lessons with me…
You would need to dedicate one full afternoon (preferably a Monday, or Thursday) and we would be spending approximately 4-6 hours in training. Not to worry, I will ensure that there’s plenty of tea to keep you hydrated along with healthy snacks, and we will take some short breaks too.
Classes include all materials, and tools necessary for the course as well as extensive notes, and other items (tea, book, and a cup and saucer) which participants will take home to continue their practice.
As these classes will take place in my home, there is room for 1 to 3 people (if you wanted to do this with a couple pals) for the Tasseomancy Novice course.
IN PERSON CLASSES: $400 (no tax) per person. You can expect to spend approximately 4-6 hours with me in one afternoon for this course. We also can space the lesson out and can do it over two weeks if that would be easier.
ONLINE PRIVATE CLASSES: Are also available on the same days, and classes will be conducted over Zoom. You will have the option to space out the classes over 4 weeks, or over 2 weeks with longer sessions of 3 hours per session. These classes will take place in the evenings from 7-9 or 10pm.
The ONLINE Course will have two options for payment: if I am shipping materials to you, it would be $450. If you are acquiring the materials for the course, then the cost would be $400. You will be sent an invoice via email which would allow you to pay via debit or credit card.
PREPAYMENT: is required for each course, and in the event of cancellation, a credit memo will be issued, which you to be able to use for another date.
