Universal Tea Break Black Tea, 50g bag

Universal Tea Break is not a new blend made by me, in fact its an old blend with an interesting history. It also was one of the first teas that I used when I started my career as a professional Tasseomancer back in the early 1990s.

In fact, the tea has quite an interesting story attached to it with a monastic history. In this version, where the tea has been called by others, Monks Blend, it was said to be used by monks to stay alery while meditating, but that the monks would trade this blend for essential supplies. I renamed it to be called Universal Tea Break because this tea is the the perfect tea for giving you a break during a busy day.

Because it’s a black tea, it does have caffeine so you can stay focussed, but it’s a delicious, calm and soothing cuppa, a gentle pick me up if you will. I also have read that this tea will help connect one to the Universal Energy that is all around us. With vanilla and pomegranate flavouring, the magickal elements are about the laws of attraction, abundance, and the the need to take time for oneself while still being present.

It’s a great one to try doing tea leaf readings with as well as it only has a small amount of botanicals in it. This tea is a true delight for the senses, I enjoy mine with a splash of milk and a dash of brown sugar.

Universal Tea Break Black Tea

Organic Ingredients: A blend of black tea leaves, calendula petals, ground vanilla, red cornflower petals and natural pomegranate flavour. Directions: 1 heaped tsp, use boiled water and steep for 3-5 mins. Enjoy plain or add sweetener of your choice, brown sugar or cane sugar, with a dash of milk. Utterly divine.
