I have been dying to blend this tea for some time now, and now that I have I am so pleased with the result!
Now, this Mao Feng (Keemun) black tea that I used really doesn’t need anything added to it as it is absolutely lovely on its own. But . . . These Egyptian rose petals I got in are soooo yummy, I couldn’t wait to marry these two beautiful flavours together!!
This Mao Feng is crisp and lively with flavorful burgundy notes, with a hint of smoke and oak. The rose petals taste just like they smell, floral, with a slightly spicy, citrus on the tongue. Combined they are downright divine, exotic and sexy!!!
Black Rose, Black Tea
Organic Ingredients: Grade 3 Chinese Imperial Keemun (Mao Feng) tea leaves, Egyptian rose petals.
Directions: 1 heaped tsp, use boiled water and steep for 3-5 mins. Enjoy plain or add sweetener of your choice. Milk generally is not added to Mao Feng as this teas beautiful flavour stands on its own.
