Make Your Own Yule Altar Hand Broom November 30, Seven Sisters, London,ON

When we craft our own tools, we can imbue them with our intention, our purpose and our needs. A hand broom for example, is a tool that is used in several different ways, from cleaning up crumbs, dust, shavings etc. to moving energy, smoke, air. It also at times can be used as an aspergillum for waters.

In this three hour class you will learn how to craft your own simple but powerful kitchen tools (a pot scrubber, and a cake/baking tester), and 18-20” Yule Altar Hand Broom which you will adorn with sacred herbs and greenery. FRESH Bay Laurel, Rosemary, Holly, Cedar, as well as a cinnamon stick and a wooden oak acorn charm box you can add your wishes and spells of the season to. 

You will, while crafting your brooms, learn some of the history behind the designs, and the mundane and magickal uses of these versatile tools. You also will have an opportunity to imbue your Kitchen Tools and Yule Altar Broom with your own magickal intent and purpose, especially since we will be crafting our brooms while the lunar cycle will be just past the New Moon, and will be in the first quarter waxing towards the Full Moon. A perfect time to birth your brooms with purpose.

By the end of the course, you will walk away with an understanding of simple broom magick related to Yule as well as 3, made by YOU brooms.
